Old Lyme Board of Selectmen

Special Meeting
The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 2:30 PM on Monday, 7 January 2013 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the Salaries and Capital Expense portions of the FY 2014 budget requests.
Finance Director Nicole Stajduhar was available to review Salary requests, highlighting where increases, steps, staff changes, and union contracts affected the increase. Capital requests were also reviewed.
Several questions were addressed throughout the meeting, and Nicole or Bonnie were able to address those questions. There was consensus to pass on the full budget to the Board of Finance for them to start their process. Selectman Sibley had to adjourn to another meeting at about 4 PM. There was further discussion about revenue figures within the budget.
Selectwoman Nosal moved to adjourn the special meeting at 4:14 PM. Selectwoman Reemsnyder seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
